Life Update: I'm now on my senior year in Univ!

Hey Psychos!

Lots of things has happened while I'm on my hiatus writing on my blog. I missed you all my low-key incognito readers. <3

As what I've said lots of things has happened while I was spending my summer vacation to an internship for schoo credits. Here is the rundown of things that happened to me.

1. I turned 20 last May 28th (I missed having the word 'teen' at the end of my age)
2. Went to Hong Kong (My first plane ride and to travel abroad haha!)
3. Practiced stick shift driving
4. Spent my internship at Magsaysay Group Of Companies-Yas! I enjoyed a lot #swear
5. Went on a friendly date with a Tinder match
6. Had a very bad hangover I can't eat my breakfast the next morning
7. Tinder again

Hahahaha! That's all I can remember for now but you know me I'm a lazy ass chic. For now I'm on my last year now in college so Hello Senior Year!!!!! Hoping that everything will go smoothly this school year even if it's quite impossible. Haha! Cheers to life for good and bad/

Only Fools Rush Things

Disclaimer: This column article was originally made for the company I was supposed to be spending my summer internship. This was the shorter version of my previous article which is the "Existential Crisis"

I always laugh at myself every time I remember how I dealt my depression last year. And if you ask me where the culprit came-I am, the only one who causes pressure to myself.

Long before I get to know these two types of goals, I planned on getting a US Visa. Yes, at the age of 19. You know getting this visa isn’t a joke, right?

I don't know if it's just me or the queue of people outside the embassy but the All-time Filipino dream had brainwashed me. I really wanted to be an OFW in the land of the free and brave.

Since I'm a goal-getter person, it itches me not to achieve that goal soon. So then I became the instrument of my own destruction.

Thankfully, I had a chance to talk with my sociology professor in which he had given me answers to my black parade. He introduced me to two types of goals which are the Long and the Short-term goal.

Short-Term Goals refers to everyday agenda we are doing. It can be as simple as going home safely from work up to planning that reunion with your friends. While Long-Term Goals requires big decisions and tedious brainstorming. It can be that trip abroad or applying a loan for a car. Planning your Long-Term goals also requires patience since the name itself is self-explanatory, Long.

For now, my short term goal is to finish my studies and to graduate from college. About my long term one, I'll just let my fate do it for me.

My Usual Spot

My usual spot, Starbucks UN Ave. cor. Roxas Boulevard
In hundreds of coffee shop in the Metro Manila, I found my preferred sanctuary right in the corner of United Nations Ave. and Roxas Boulevard.

Despite of its huzzling buzzling location where cars pass by, the coffee shop is busy too because of its nearby establishments like the US Embassy, hotels, museums, firm buildings, etc.

My cousin finds it weird why I choose to stay outside the coffee shop, (well so I can smoke to be honest,). I'm an introvert person, even though (many) people think I'm an extrovert one. (No I'm not)

It doesn't give me that scophophilia (desire to look at) effect but I just really like the place given that a. It's my City b. I'm a coffee freak and c. I like to stare at people and cars

I'm just really weird.

Things to do when you feel Morbid

There were times when sadness came unexpectedly. Some, after you felt so happy. Oftentimes, when you’re just bored on a lazy afternoon. Whether you feel good (for some people) or bad about it. These cult classics will make you feel you’re not alone on your black parade.

Watch

Garden State (2004)
Directed by the lead actor itself, Zach Braff plays a role of a dysfunctional guy who's coming back to his hometown in New Jersey for his mother’s funeral.

Elizabethtown (2005)
An underrated film about loss, reject, and joy of contentment.

Listen

 The Shins- New Slang
OST of Motion Picture ‘Garden State’, this song is very deep for its usage of figures of speech.

      Augustana- Boston
A lullaby-like song when you just want to get away from the everything

Gregory Alan Isokov- If I go, I’m going
Perfect for night quiet driving

Read

‘This Book will Save your Life’ by AM Homes
A dark humor novel about a middle age man whose life has changed when a big sinkhole shows up in his front yard. I really recommend this one.

still clueless for 2017

Hello Psychos, welcome to Psychedelic Tales or should I say welcome to the vast representation of my brain and all its knick-knacks. Stay updated and be foolish. You know you love me xoxo, J.

 whut? Hahaha!

So it's 2017 and for sure everyone planned to start their new year fresh and so am I. In my case, I just got back on watching Gossip Girl (that's why my introduction is GG-esque like). On School stuff I'm now on my second semester of my 3rd year in university. By the summer of this year, I will be starting my internship which means no summer vacation for me again.

elite kids of Upper East Side
For the second time, we spent our holidays last 2016 on Baguio City, it's a cold place up in the highlands of northern Luzon. It's all up in my youtube channel.

If you gonna ask me what's my plan this 2017 well I'm still clueless. But I'm planning on getting a driver's license and also try to buy a new pair of kicks maybe another Vans or a New Balance.

That's it, I just wanna update you guys, I'm leaving you with this happy-morbid song of Just Jack. I love you and Happy New Year.
