They say, Filipinos have the longest christmas season in the world 'cause whenever the calendar hits September 1st, we pinoy feel quickly the spirit of Christmas. Anyway, I enlisted the things that makes me go smile and silently giggle whenever I hear christmas Season!

1.Bibingka & Putobombong
Woah, who doesn't love that Rice cake filled with cheese and yummy salted egg and that sticky violet thing with sugar and coconut shreds on top. YES! please :)

2.'Mabilis Magdilim'
During Ber-months, nighttime is more longer than daytime. Some Elementary schools here in the Philippines have "Daylight saving time" in which the school dismisses classes earlier than their said dismissal time to keep the child's safety "daw".  I'm a nocturnal person so every activity being done during nights/midnight/dawn is in favor to me.

3.Sembreak (Semestral Break)
Every college student is looking forward to this 3-2 week break. Some, plans to spend their break at their hometown. Others are planning fore some road trip or an 'outing'."Damn you Finals, Good bye Last Semester"

4.Trick or Treat/ Halloween Party
This usually happens at the last weeks of October. Kids go wear their costumes and knocks on the door of their neighbors to ask for some candies. And so adults and celebrities to.

5 All Saints day & All souls day
Many Filipino families are treating this days as their 'Family Reunion'. Syempre, we need to reminisce din for our co- family member who's now with the hands of our Almighty God.

6.Sweater Weather
Cold breeze + Swiss miss Chocolate w/ tiny marshmallows + pre-christmas movies on HBO in your comfy Sweater.. YES Please! At last, you can now wear that hoodie or sweater you've bought from an 'End of season sale' in Terranova, Cotton on or in an online shop.

7. Simbang Gabi
Everytime the calendar hits it's 16th day of December, Churches here in the Philippines is starting put on Christmas lights and preparing for the night's 'Simbang Gabi' or Late night Mass. Filipino has this urban legend that if you consequently attended this '10 late night mass' starting from 16th to 25th day of December, your wish will come true on the last day of the mass.
