Keeping the faith

I've been gone through A LOT while having my hiatus on blogging. Sleepless nights doing our thesis, spending overnight on Starbucks, restless TV and Radio production, trying to get luck on Tinder Haha!

My last entry is about updating you guys that I'm now in my senior year in university. Currently, I'm on my last semester now and I only got 1 month for school. Our graduation will be on June this year and I'm just so excited to graduate in this school and just give that diploma to my parents.

One saturday afternoon while cleaning my stuff, I have stumbled into this Orocan box filled with my High School memories-retreat letters, pictures, slambooks, and my High School Yearbook. I opened my yearbook looking for my page and right before my eyes have seen the whole page the word 'Ambition' caught me saying To Be a Radio Jockey/ Columnist. Hehe.

Looking back at the years I've spent in college is just an ethereal view of my milestones I have achieved. I only got one month now for school so I guess I'll just bring the best of me this time. That's all.

PS. About my Tinder, I already got my luck ;)

As what I've said lots of things has happened while I was spending my summer vacation to an internship for schoo credits. Here is the rundown of things that happened to me.

1. I turned 20 last May 28th (I missed having the word 'teen' at the end of my age)
2. Went to Hong Kong (My first plane ride and to travel abroad haha!)
3. Practiced stick shift driving
4. Spent my internship at Magsaysay Group Of Companies-Yas! I enjoyed a lot #swear
5. Went on a friendly date with a Tinder match
6. Had a very bad hangover I can't eat my breakfast the next morning
7. Tinder again

Hahahaha! That's all I can remember for now but you know me I'm a lazy ass chic. For now I'm on my last year now in college so Hello Senior Year!!!!! Hoping that everything will go smoothly this school year even if it's quite impossible. Haha! Cheers to life for good and bad/

Only Fools Rush Things

Disclaimer: This column article was originally made for the company I was supposed to be spending my summer internship. This was the shorter version of my previous article which is the "Existential Crisis"

I always laugh at myself every time I remember how I dealt my depression last year. And if you ask me where the culprit came-I am, the only one who causes pressure to myself.

Long before I get to know these two types of goals, I planned on getting a US Visa. Yes, at the age of 19. You know getting this visa isn’t a joke, right?

I don't know if it's just me or the queue of people outside the embassy but the All-time Filipino dream had brainwashed me. I really wanted to be an OFW in the land of the free and brave.

Since I'm a goal-getter person, it itches me not to achieve that goal soon. So then I became the instrument of my own destruction.

Thankfully, I had a chance to talk with my sociology professor in which he had given me answers to my black parade. He introduced me to two types of goals which are the Long and the Short-term goal.

Short-Term Goals refers to everyday agenda we are doing. It can be as simple as going home safely from work up to planning that reunion with your friends. While Long-Term Goals requires big decisions and tedious brainstorming. It can be that trip abroad or applying a loan for a car. Planning your Long-Term goals also requires patience since the name itself is self-explanatory, Long.

For now, my short term goal is to finish my studies and to graduate from college. About my long term one, I'll just let my fate do it for me.

My Usual Spot

My usual spot, Starbucks UN Ave. cor. Roxas Boulevard
In hundreds of coffee shop in the Metro Manila, I found my preferred sanctuary right in the corner of United Nations Ave. and Roxas Boulevard.

Despite of its huzzling buzzling location where cars pass by, the coffee shop is busy too because of its nearby establishments like the US Embassy, hotels, museums, firm buildings, etc.

My cousin finds it weird why I choose to stay outside the coffee shop, (well so I can smoke to be honest,). I'm an introvert person, even though (many) people think I'm an extrovert one. (No I'm not)

It doesn't give me that scophophilia (desire to look at) effect but I just really like the place given that a. It's my City b. I'm a coffee freak and c. I like to stare at people and cars

I'm just really weird.
