Ditch that: Overrated things you used to like

Fashion is Innovative. One day you've rocked that piece and next thing you know is that everybody wears it; just like the legendary white Birks. Having a unique sense of style is a must, but sadly these pieces just went viral and became overrated that you need to ditch wearing. #mainstream

1. White Birkenstock (Arizona)

These pretty-ugly mandals have come back to the fashion world since the start of year 2015. I've seen bloggers and celebrities wearing this chic sandals flaunting their Minimalist style. My older folks also said that this footwear was a hit during their time which is way back in 80's popularly calle "Hang-Ten". Going back, sadly these footwear was in everyone's feet nowadays. What makes me more sadder is that I've saw fake Birks online. Tsk tsk. Bye bye Normcore.

2. Vintage Gold CASIO watch

I used to have this watch because of its elegant color and it'll totally transform your style into classy. Sadly, I saw fake pieces of this in Bangketas and many people often wear this.

3. Nike Roshe Run (Classic Black)

Talkin about normcore fashion. This trendy piece of Nike really bombarded the teen culture. Sadly, as I said, it went overrated.

4. Comme des Garcons ("Like Boys")

Comme des Fuckdown. Let us all give thanks to the queen of all media; Kris Aquino for wearing this subculture shirt all throughout the episodes of KrisTV and for making this brand go mainstream so now you can see shirts with printed hearts with peculiar eyes in the streets of Divisoria. One word, Fake.

WARNING:
The next thing you'll see is not a fashion piece and it might offend you

5. VSCO

#VSCOcam #VSCOphile #VSCO #VSCOlikemyphoto #VSCObasicbitchesusesthishashtagjusttogainlikes Bull to the crap.

*calmed tits* Seriously, I never ever thought that this magical 'turn my photo into a minimalist looking' app will be going viral. I've been using these app for like 3 years and then one day, I just saw my Instagram friends using it and I was like "Oh that's A6, HB1" which is kinda a good thing. What makes me sad is that some people uses vsco  just to gain likes! for example"Pancit Canton for merienda, Chibugan na! #VSCOcam" and also the thing that many people were restarting their IG feed just for it to become VSCOcam filtered feed. Deleting their photos plus their memories just for a clean-crisp minimalist feed (for me) is a bad decision.  If you're my friend and you're reading this right now, and you feel like I offended you. Sorry not sorry.

Heartbreak Warfare

pixshark.com
Everything feels like complicated when someone broke your heart. You see dark clouds even if the sky is scorching bright. You think every love song is meant for you. You can hear "word-by-word" for every sad song that is being played. Productivity is a 'no' for you in the mean time. Asking why fate gives you problems. Problems that you just want to squeeze out of your life. But sometimes, all we need to do is to accept change, and press that restart button to forget slowly all the pain. Moving on is not an easy thing to do. But remember, when the rain has stopped and the petrichor smell had gone, taking your first 'moving on' breath has never been so good.

Jason

HolyWeek 2015

Ah, summer. Fun times, tan lines, and different resorts. As a person who grew up in the city; waking up in the province smelling the fresh air and sauted garlic rice is a real deal. So I went again to Botolan, Zambales together with my cousin and kuya Nilo to spend my Lenten days there. Here's what happened during the "be a good kid" week.

3. Bought some Halo-Halo for meryenda.

5. Did some afternoon Jogg (3km WTF?!) then went tampisaw to this little batis.

6. by 7:30 PM We watched this film titled 'Ekstra' starring Vilma Santos. She's portraying the life of a 'bit-player'.

8 tips from me on How to live a successfuly and contented life

 dripsfromourtongueslikehoney.tumblr.com

1. Love and trust yourself
Love starts within you, as well as trusting yourself. If you think pessimist, you will never see and feel the magical mystery of life. Learn to think outside the box and try to get out of your comfort zone.

2. Set your goals
As early as the age of 14, I started to ask my self about future plans. Living a spontaneous life is one factor for happy living but having plans for the future you will save you for being nothing. Assurance is the key, first before #YOLO.

3. Surround yourself with great people
Many people will come to our lives whether tangible or intangible. Some of them may come from your high school friends, your nonage friend, colleagues, your parents, event your past significant other. These people can help you shape your personality.

4. Fuel your passion
Act like a lamb, think like a bull. Finding and shaping your passion is a good example of living a productive life. Find a hobby that you love so much it keeps you being in progress. If you like extreme then do sports, inspiring others through letters? try creative writing, culture and arts? go travel. There's a lot of fishes in the sea.

5. Be positive aggressive
Dull moments is part of a journey. Sometimes when life hits boredom. He gives us problems that will surefire keeps us alive and moving. Remember "that without pain, there's no joy" and that "for every dark clouds, there's always a silver lining." There's no story without conflict.

6. Take a look back from those stepping stones
A house was built by those tiny pieces of rocks. As well as a one million bucks. As well as a human body, composed of cells. Count your blessings even the smallest ones and keep gravitated. Take a look on your past achievements so you can see how you went so far.

7. Reflect on things and be thankful

Trapped in the spell of life called Trance? Always give your self a break to "stop, look, and wander" be thankful to God's graces and everyday gift which is life.

8. Never stop learning
Learning doesn't stop after you got your college diploma. Education is different from learning. You will learn new things from the people you meet, movies, novels, television, or even from a stranger. Learning is good. It is a food to your mind and soul. Once, a Philosopher said “The day you stop learning is the day you stop living.”
